Dear Customer,
Please be informed that Mexico Customs published
a minor change of their regulation about contents of B/L (M/F) information
submitted under the current Mexico 24hr rule.
In case of Mexico local inbound cargo,
additional information of Consignee will be required as follows.
<Current requirement about Consignee
information>
Name and complete
address of the shipper, consignee, and notify party, as stated in the bill of
lading.
<New
requirement about Consignee information>
Name and complete
address of the shipper, consignee, and notify party, as stated in the bill of
lading. In case of Mexico local inbound cargo, Mexican Tax ID
& Telephone number are also additionally required for Consignee.
Remark:
1) This Requirement will be effective from M/V IKARUGA
V.114E (ETA Xiamen 1st Sept 2009 & ETA Hong Kong 3rd
Sept 09)
2) In the case that
the Consignee mentioned "To Order", Notify Party must show all
information required as importer on behalf of consignee.
3) Again, this is a
new requirement only for the Consignee in case of Mexico local inbound cargo.
We
would appreciate your kind attention once again and your co-operation in this
matter to make the necessary arrangement so that we can meet the new Customs
requirements.
