IMPLEMENTATION OF CARGO MANIFEST SUBMISSION TO DAMMAM CUSTOMS

Please be informed that we received following notice from Dammam Port Authority as quoted below :-

The Dammam Port Authority has introduced a NEW EDI System, called SaudiEDI for filing the import manifest along with Arabic Translation.

All import manifests are to be submitted 72 hours prior to vessel’s ETA. It is difficult/impossible to make any changes once the manifest is filed-the procedure is very lengthy and time consuming and involves fines as well.

Kindly instruct your agents/customers to confirm/close B/L’s of cargo destined for Dammam in good time before vessel’s arrival.

The local authorities are not expected to accept any changes whatsoever after the manifest is filed.

In light of this, we would kindly request your full compliance of the new arrangement accordingly. Your co-operation to the above is highly appreciated.
