We would
like to inform that the Japanese Government would implement a Japanese 24 Hours
Manifest Rule owing to the authority would like to tighten security measures
and thus, the effective date of the implementation is on 1 February 2007.
Under
the new regulation, carriers are required to submit cargo manifest to Japan
Customs 24 Hours before vessel arriving the first calling port in Japan. As
such, in order to cope with this new requirement, we have to re-set the DOC CUT
for the following services on our vessels sailing from Hong Kong to Japan:-

Please be reminded that the above NEW DOC CUT would be strictly implemented without fail. In case of failures to comply, the container may not be allowed to discharge and your company should bear all the relevant cost and penalty if incurred.
In light of this, we would kindly request your full compliance of the new rule and doc cut arrangement accordingly. Your co-operation to the above is highly appreciated.
