HIGH SECURITY SEAL REGULATION FOR PUERTO CALDERA, COSTA RICA OUTBOUND TRADE EFFECTIVE FROM 1^st JUNE 2007.

Please kindly be informed that with effective from 1^st June 2007, the Puerto Caldera Custom will request high security seal in use for all cargo discharging at Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica.

In case there is no qualified security seal found by the Puerto Caldera Customs, customer would be charged USD100 per container and this will be under the responsibility of the ORIGIN SHIPPER without exception. In this regards, we highly recommend our dearest customers to use only ONE seal provided by NYK. If it’s indeed necessary to change using other seal and no advance notification and checking made to us prior to loading, origin shipper will be held full responsibility for this charge.
