US CUSTOMS – IMPORTER SECURITY FILING 10+2 PROGRAM

We would like to remind all exporters, shippers, customers, merchants and freight forwarders that it is the mandatory requirement of HS code under the US Customs Importer Security Filing 10 +2 filing - ISF-5 filing. To prevent any delay of cargo clearance or possibly customs hold at US, we are going to highlight the importance of your submission of HS code (6 digits) for cargo by,

1. US FROB (Freight Retain On Board);
2. IE (discharge and immediate export from the US); and,
3. T&E (discharge and export from the US by intermodal transport)

Cargo moving into or passing thru the United States, HS code is mandatory (at least 6 digits level) which must be applied to each commodity on every BL. For purpose of accuracy please ensure to provide the HS code up to 6 digit level.
